The Paris Chamber of Crafts and Trade is virtually absent from Twitter and social media and is up against a highly competitive online ecosystem (politicians, similar establishments, journalists, institutions, etc.)
What we did
Proches’ strategy was to make the @CMA_Paris Twitter account the Crafts and Trade standard in Paris, to give it greater exposure in the Paris Metropolitan Area (Métropole du Grand Paris), and to make use of an important means of influence, working and interacting closely with its members and promoting crafts and tradesmen along with the services and activities of the CMAP. The concept of the strategy involved the benchmarking of similar Twitter accounts, the study of the CMAP ecosystem, recommendations on reviving the new Twitter account as well as supporting the launch of the new Twitter account by the Communications Department.
The CMAP is now an influential player, recognized on the social media by its own ecosystem. The strategy implemented gave the CMAP’s actions and events it organizes throughout the year greater impact and visibility.
