Proches strengthens its management team with the appointment of Clémence Artur as associate director.
Paris, 2 October 2018 – Proches announces the appointment of Clémence Artur as associate director. Her expertise in public affairs and communications will strengthen the agency’s unique mix of skills and competences.
A graduate from IEP Grenoble, Clémence Artur started her career as a journalist with the mainstream media, political sites and art magazines. She wrote contributions to L’Obs and L’Expansion, as well as for the Nonfiction.fr website.
After a second Master’s degree from Velsa in political communication, Clémence Artur joined the TBWA\Corporate Influence division. She worked with companies on public affair issues (aviation, medical, energy sectors), public communications (local and regional authorities), crisis communication (Telecoms, maritime) and corporate communication, for three years.
Clémence Artur joined the leading automotive professional organization, the National Automotive Industry Council (Conseil National des Professions de l’Automobile – CNPA), in October 2014. Responsible for public affairs, assistant director and then manager of the CNP division of Public affairs and communication, she drew up the influence strategies and represented the industry in the media and in dealings with authorities for four years.
In September 2018, Clémence Artur joined the Proches agency as associate director. She will be responsible for the agency’s public affairs and automotive accounts, in particular Continental.
